Terms of Service

Thanks for choosing HiTV: CarTV M3U Player (the “App” or “Software”) and related services (the “Service”) provided by Guangzhou Zhifeng Information Technology Co. LTD. (“we”, “our” or “us”). These Terms of Service (the “Agreement”) are a contract between you and us. They describe your rights and responsibilities before you use HiTV: CarTV M3U Player, including its screen casting, compatible car display connection, and M3U/M3U8 playlist parsing and playback features.

This Agreement does not apply to third-party websites, applications, streaming providers, car systems, receivers or other services that are accessible through the Service. Those services may have separate terms that apply to you.

BY ACCESSING, VIEWING OR USING THE APP OR SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE STOP USING THE APP AND SERVICE IMMEDIATELY.

1. Our intellectual property rights

  1. We independently develop and operate the App and Service. We retain all copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets and other intellectual property rights in the App, Service, software, user interface, design, text, graphics, logos, documentation and related materials.
  2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, publish, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive source code from the App or Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law or we have given prior written permission.
  3. Nothing in this Agreement grants you ownership of the App or Service. All rights not expressly granted remain with us and our licensors.

2. License to use the App

  1. Subject to this Agreement, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive license to install and use the App on an Apple device that you own or control for lawful, non-commercial purposes.
  2. You may use the App only as permitted by its documented functionality and applicable law. You may not rent, resell, redistribute or provide the App or Service to another person as a separate service.
  3. You may not use the App or Service to damage, disable, overburden or impair our systems or networks, or to introduce malware, viruses or other harmful code.
  4. This license automatically ends if you materially breach this Agreement. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users or third parties, subject to applicable law.

3. Service features and compatibility

HiTV: CarTV M3U Player may allow you to connect to compatible displays or receivers, cast supported content from the App, and import, parse and play compatible M3U or M3U8 links and playlists. HiTV: CarTV M3U Player does not include or provide live television channels, an IPTV channel directory, a streaming catalog or preloaded broadcast sources, and does not host or retransmit the content referenced by your links. Availability and performance may vary by iOS version, device, vehicle, receiver, network, stream format, provider and regional restrictions. HiTV: CarTV M3U Player is not an official Apple product and does not replace Apple CarPlay or a vehicle manufacturer’s system unless expressly stated in an approved integration.

4. Playlists, stream URLs and user content

  1. You are responsible for every M3U/M3U8 link, playlist, stream URL, channel name, file or other material that you import, access or play through the App (collectively, “User Content”).
  2. You represent and warrant that you have all permissions, licenses and rights required to access, play and, where applicable, cast your User Content. You must not use the App to access or distribute unauthorized broadcasts, pirated works, stolen credentials or content that violates another person’s rights.
  3. You must not use the App to bypass authentication, subscriptions, paywalls, digital rights management, encryption, geographic restrictions or technical protection measures.
  4. User Content may be processed or stored on your device. We do not claim ownership of your User Content. You grant us only the limited rights reasonably necessary to provide support or operate a feature that you voluntarily request.
  5. We do not control or endorse third-party streams and do not guarantee their legality, accuracy, availability, quality or security. We may block or discontinue access to a source when required by law or when we reasonably believe it presents a risk.

You agree to use the App and Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

You are solely responsible for using HiTV safely and lawfully. Do not operate the App, enter a playlist URL, adjust a connection or watch video while driving. Complete setup before moving, obey local laws and use video features only when the vehicle is safely parked and the relevant vehicle and system support them. The App is not a substitute for attention to traffic, road conditions or vehicle controls.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process information and is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.

8. Paid services

  1. Some features may require payment (“Paid Services”). The price, duration, trial terms, renewal terms and available features will be shown before you confirm a purchase.
  2. Paid Services purchased through the App are processed by Apple’s App Store. We do not receive your full payment credentials. You agree to Apple’s applicable terms and payment rules.
  3. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple ID account may be charged within 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
  4. Any free trial will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends. Any unused trial period may end when you purchase a subscription.
  5. Prices may change where permitted by law. The price displayed at the time of purchase or renewal applies. Refund requests are handled according to Apple’s refund policies and applicable law.

9. Third-party services

The Service may interoperate with third-party platforms, streaming providers, receivers, vehicle systems or networks. We are not responsible for third-party services, including their availability, content, security, terms or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is subject to that provider’s agreement with you.

10. Disclaimer

  1. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
  2. We do not guarantee that every device, vehicle, receiver, network, playlist or stream will work with the App, or that a stream will remain available, lawful or free from harmful content.
  3. We are not responsible for interruption or failure caused by network conditions, third-party providers, device or vehicle limitations, operating system changes, force majeure, unauthorized access or other matters outside our reasonable control.
  4. Nothing in this Agreement limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Guangzhou Zhifeng Information Technology Co. LTD. and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill or business, arising from or related to your use of the App or Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the App or Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Paid Services giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the event, except where applicable law requires a different result.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless us, our affiliates, licensors, contractors, officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and reasonable legal fees arising from your User Content, your use of the App or Service, your breach of this Agreement, or your violation of law or a third party’s rights.

13. User age restrictions

The Service is not directed to children under 13 or the applicable minimum age in your country. If you are below the age of majority, use the App only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

14. Changes, suspension and termination

We may update this Agreement when the App, Service, business or applicable law changes. We will post the updated version and its publication date. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or business reasons. Where required by law, we will provide notice or any applicable remedy.

15. Miscellaneous

  1. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this Agreement without our prior written consent. We may assign this Agreement in connection with a business transfer.
  2. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law of your country or region.
  3. Subject to applicable law, disputes will first be addressed through good-faith consultation. If consultation fails, a dispute may be submitted to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) South China Sub-Commission for arbitration under the rules in effect when the arbitration is initiated. Nothing prevents a consumer from bringing a claim before a court or authority where mandatory law permits.
  4. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
